Journal of Pediatric Health and Nutrition (JPHN) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal dedicated to publishing the highest quality research related to the health and nutrition of children and youth. JPHN focuses on topics such as the physical and mental well-being of children, nutritional knowledge and strategies, strategies to promote healthy behaviors, interventions to prevent and manage childhood diseases, child protection and safety programs, pediatric health technology, treatment options, and other similar topics. 

The journal is committed to disseminating evidence-based research on a variety of topics to inform and improve clinical practice, policy, and understanding across all areas of pediatric health, nutrition, and related topics. JPHN encourages authors to submit manuscripts from a spectrum of disciplines that include, but are not limited to, nursing, nutrition, public health, psychology, medicine, and social sciences. With a primary focus on pediatrics, JPHN publishes content that is critical to our understanding of the etiology and management of pediatric health and nutrition, including studies of health services, interventions, preventive health practices, and health promotion.

The journal publishes high-quality research papers that cover all aspects of pediatric health and nutrition, including early childhood development, physical and mental health, well-being, and diet and nutrition. The journal also covers emerging topics and health issues in communities where access to healthcare is limited. JPHN seeks to provide readers, medical practitioners, and researchers with the latest research, opinions, and evidence-based practices in pediatric healthcare, and wellness. It publishes a wide array of primary research studies (e.g. clinical trials, and observational studies) and reviews, case reports, and commentaries. JPHN aims to provide an open-access resource to help in the advancement of pediatric health and nutrition education, improve health care delivery, and inform policymaking. 

The journal publishes original research articles and reviews focusing on the diagnosis, management, and prevention of pediatric health and nutritional problems. In addition, the journal encourages interdisciplinary and integrated research, clinical, and public health approaches across multiple disciplines, such as Pediatrics, and Child Health. JPHN is committed to sharing the latest advances in pediatric nutrition and health. Research articles cover a wide range of topics, including but not limited to pediatric obesity, physical and mental health disorders, malnutrition, environmental toxins, genetic susceptibilities, and health disparities. 

The journal strives to promote the advancement of knowledge and best practices in pediatric health and nutrition so that children and youth around the world can benefit from improved health and well-being. JPHN aims to cover all aspects of development, genetics, epidemiology, and environmental influences on the health and development of children from the prenatal stage through adolescence.
