Aims and Scope

International Journal of Vasculitis (IJV) is an open access journal that serves as a peer-reviewed and authoritative source in the area of vasculitis. IJV aims to provide a platform for all stages of clinical and research related to vasculitis and publishes the latest advances in diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and prognosis. Topics of focus include the latest in clinical, histopathological, immunopathological, and epidemiological research. Furthermore, IJV provides a platform to identify and discuss pathogenic, therapeutic, and prognosis-related variables, and to learn from the successful clinical practices of experts in the field.

The scope of the journal encompasses studies on all aspects of vasculitis, including diagnosis, pathogenesis, epidemiology, management and treatment, clinical evaluation, and prognosis. Topics include the mechanisms of action of vasculitis, the structure and function of the vasculature, and the effects of vasculitis on different organs and body systems. Journal is committed to providing the latest, most current clinical and basic research, enabling healthcare professionals and the healthcare industry to gain a better knowledge of this complex disease and improve overall patient outcomes. IJV aims to create a platform for innovative research and to facilitate the exchange of ideas and knowledge among researchers, and clinicians. The journal covers all aspects of vasculitis research, ranging from basic science to clinical practice and emerging therapies, vascular inflammation and associated diseases. Topics include but are not limited to epidemiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis, and associated diseases. The IJV is interested in original work, clinical or laboratory-based, including cross-sectional and prospective observational studies as well as randomized clinical trials.
