Aims and Scope


International Journal of Surgical Techniques is an open access, peer-reviewed, scholarly journal that provides a platform for the dissemination of research in the field of surgeries and techniques and the journal provides a platform for sharing research, innovations, and new techniques in the field of surgery. The journal focuses on all aspects of surgical techniques, ranging from preoperative preparation to postoperative management, and exchanges ideas on the development and application of novel surgical approaches, new technologies, and future trends and research pertaining to surgery.

 

IJST covers the most advanced techniques used in the field of surgery such as minimally invasive, advanced robotic, and laparoscopic among others. Its primary mission is to provide a platform for surgeons, doctors, researchers, and all professionals associated with the medical field to share their research, knowledge, case studies, and experiences as well as exchange innovative ideas.

 

IJST publishes research articles on all aspects of surgical techniques, including surgical principles, instruments, and techniques; patient safety, outcomes, and research; advanced procedures and techniques; and educational techniques. The journal encourages the submission of evidence-based and clinical studies, which provide new insights into the advancement of surgical techniques. It also accepts manuscripts that explore innovative surgical techniques related to laparoscopic, robotic, and endoscopic surgery, as well as minimally invasive techniques.

 

Surgery, Anesthesia, Biomedical Science, Pathology, and Diagnostics are welcome for publication. All accepted articles are published in the Online version of the journal and the printed version of the journal is also available. Includes surgical techniques, tools, and equipment, as well as case studies of successful procedures. Additionally, the Journal covers topics such as healthcare policy, medical ethics, research ethics, and the latest developments in surgical technology and improved patient care. 

 

IJST encourages articles that promote innovative, reproducible, diagnostics, therapeutic, and surgical techniques in various disciplines, and also ameliorates the skills of clinicians in surgical procedures. IJST encourages authors to submit manuscripts as Research, Reviews, Editorials, Letters, Short Communication, and Case Reports, with innovative and reproducible surgical techniques in all disciplines.

 

The main objective of the IJST is to act as a platform for surgeons to interchange ideas and disseminate the recent advances in the art of surgery.
